Carnivals and Competitions at SKLSC
Surf Boats
In the 2010/2011 Season St Kilda LIfe Saving Club compted in the Open Womens and Reserve Mens, and Masters Surf Boats arena, placing in some of the top events in the country including taking out a Gold medal in the ASRL Nation Finals and State Title medals. St Kilda is currently training for the 11/12 upcoming season which commences in November 2011. This season St Kilda will be competing in both state and National events in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. The teams train out of the bay in St Kilda and from the club house gym. Inflatable Resecue Boats (IRB's)
After a long break from IRB racing for the club, the 2010/2011 season saw St Kilda take to the seas with an IRB crew once again! The team showed great promise in their first season and under the guidance more senior IRB racers at the club who bring a wealth of experience, they are assured a speedy improvement and much successs in the future. Other Surf Life Saving Sports
The club also has individuals who compete in sports such as open water swimming, board paddle and ski paddle. In the upcoming season we have a board and ski squad starting with three paddlers already in training. St Kilda Ironment will soon be tackling events like the Coolangatta Gold. Training
Our athelets are training down at the club three mornings a week in the gym and on the water in St Kilda. We also do training camps down the coast in the Victorian Surf Coast.
